What does ADR Mean?
The concept ADR stands from the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.
“Dangerous Goods” are those with a granted UN number. They are packed in limited quantities in small packaging units, witch are properly marked.
If dangerous goods are supplied to your courtyard as an ADR shipment, you, as the receiver or the unloader, have certain obligations according to the international regulations.
This means that each company witch is engaged in road transport or packaging, loading or unloading of dangerous goods connected with transport, should have a safety consultant.
